A graduate degree (Ph.D. preferred) in biology, with primary responsibilities in the areas of microbiology and genetics. The candidate must demonstrate interest and ability in mentoring undergraduate students through both teaching and research.
All Evangel University faculty must be strongly committed to the mission of Christian higher education within the Assemblies of God and must meet faculty doctrinal and lifestyle requirements.
Teach courses in microbiology and genetics along with some introductory biology courses.
Participate in and oversee research programs involving undergraduates.
Be involved in ongoing professional and/or scholarly development.
Mentor students through advising.
Participate in departmental and university committee assignments.
Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
