Description:
The Science Department at Simpson University invites application for a continuing full-time faculty position in ecology beginning fall 2013. The successful applicant will be qualified to teach ecology, environmental science, and organismal biology to both science and non-science majors. Simpson University is a Christian liberal arts university in the historic evangelical tradition. The applicant must be supportive of the mission and values of Simpson University.

Qualifications:
The candidate with a completed doctorate in biology or related field will be given priority; master’s degrees will be considered. Demonstration of teaching ability and experience at the college level is expected. The applicant should submit the following three items for consideration by the search committee: (1) a letter of interest, (2) curriculum vita and (3) a statement of how he/she integrates Christianity with teaching and science.
