The extra 's' on the end of "email" was an oversight. My apologies.
I'll take care to re-read my posts six times before hitting the send

criminals stole their private comments that weren't meant for general

I think it was the Iran Contra gun running fiasco that convinced me that one should not assume any privacy in corporate emails as email was one of the things that tripped them up as I recall, Even before that it was pretty obvious that courts could  subpoena any records including  emails for various kinds of reasons.  Even within the company security officers could access email with authorization from management.  Some of the systems support people also could read email although if they got caught doing so without authorization they tended to get terminated immediately.  Sure sometimes I goofed and in a moment of anger said things I should not have.
I'm frankly not sure that when you use a corporate email system their should be any essentially private comments, sure one should assume corporate security to a limited extent.

Writing what the CRU boffins did seems pretty flat out stupid and incompetitent, thus maybe they should be looking for work more in keeping with their abilities.
