Re: [asa] Dowd, Miracles, and ID-TE/ASA-List Relations

To my mind the first and greatest miracle to be accepted is Genesis 1,
"In the beginning God". The most important miracle(s) is the
Incarnation, Death and Resurrection of Jesus. Most of the other
miracles seem mere details in comparison. Having said that, I think in
all cases we need to ask what kind of story is being told and what
exactly happened. For example I think that Job is an epic and not meant
to be taken literally. In some cases I don't know what to think, for
example Jonah or the case that Ted mentioned of the tombs being opened
after the resurrection.

To make it concrete I have no problem with the feeding of the 5
thousand, walking on water or turning the water into wine.
