Ibn-al Haytham was indeed one of the greatest scientists, but whether or not
he compares favorably or not to Newton is not something I will get into. I
don't know nearly enough about him to have a serious opinion on that.

I do think that some other scientists compare well with Newton -- Kepler
and Einstein would be in that group -- but I don't want to go into that
