Burgy brings up the suggestions by some of ways to delay impact of global warming by doing things to the atmosphere to reduce the amount of solar radiation reaching the surface.

In evaluating such proposals, it should be remembered that such approaches (or any approach that does not?address atmospheric CO2) will completely fail to address one major impact of anthropogenic CO2, which is the acidification of the world's oceans.? Even if the temperature impact of the CO2 were compensated, we would still be altering the pH of the oceans, with the resultant impact (already beginning to be seen) on coral, plankton,?fish, etc.
