Animals are certainly not doing the same on earth as humans are. However, I do not know if they have souls, that is, animals may be simply body/mind while humans are body/mind/spirit.

I just have the following simple questions regarding this thread. What
does Scripture say humans will be doing in heaven, viz., worshiping and
having fellowship with God, etc? My question is, if animals have souls
and will be in heaven too, can animals do the same things humans are
going to do in heaven? If they can, does that make sense?

"just saying "it seems much more likely" carries no more weight than "I
can't believe that ...""

My actual stance on this is that is it not possible for the divine to
emerge
from material beings, especially, fallen sinful beings, but I dont have
the
time or the space to fully argue for that idea here.

" the 1st fruits of the divine come from the Holy Spirit."

Exactly. The 1st fruits come from supernatural, not natural processes.
