I think our Lord did it - eating with sinners and others. Let us follow
a bit in His example. Moreover the thing that I see strongly in the New
Testament is the bond in Christ. Sure both Christ and Paul are very
forthright in their criticism of sin and wrong theology but look how
Paul bled for the Jews that rejected Christ. And didn't Christ talk to
that Samaritan woman at the well.

I suppose that is why they talk to the ASA folks at our meetings.

Come now Pim - you are using your strawman and generalities again. If I
remember right in its very inception on Phil Johnson's and then on the
evolution list at Calvin, Phil Johnson encouraged exchange of ideas with
TE folks. In some way I think it was the manner of some of those folks
that turned many ID folks off to the dialog and had them leave the
reflector. Dialog was killed but not (in my opinion) by the IDers. It
was as much the personality of individuals. Pim it really hurts me to
see this division in the body when there are real forces to fight in our
culture and society. We dare not be a small elite group that thinks we
have all the answers. Wasn't it a sick lady that brought Francis
Collins to the Lord? And if I remember right it was an elderly lady in
his congregation that brought Abraham Kuiper to a more living expression
of his Faith. We PhD's could even sometimes be wrong.

Remember too that ID is a big tent. Some of the leadership believes in
common descent. But then you really don't want to know about some of
the flavors do you? You have already made up your mind.

And yes, Bill D.'s wife went to Dordt so he can't be all bad.
