The Philadelphia Inquirer and other papers report about a new edition of "Pandas" to be entitled The Design of Life. The article quotes Dembski as the author:
"A new edition of the book, called The Design of Life, is in the works. William Dembski, a professor at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky., who is writing the book, said the outcome of the nonjury Pennsylvania trial could affect sales.
"We're waiting to see what happens," Dembski said.

The new edition updates the field, with new material accounting for about two-thirds. It is written for a higher-level audience, primarily Advanced Placement high school and college students.

"A lot has happened in the last 15 years," said Dembski, who also wrote Intelligent Design: The Bridge Between Science and Theology and other books.
