It is gratifying to learn that the soft, recently precipitated flood
strata, aka mud, could be shoved up several miles in a brief time without
collapsing. It fits perfectly with the evolution of the equid family,
only one pair aboard the Ark to distinct species at the time of Abraham
and Joseph. It amazes me that what could not take place during geological
ages evolved in a few centuries.

From latest AIG news

Uplifting evidence
The magnitude 6.5 earthquake which struck near the coastal city of San
Simeon, California, in December 2003, has improved the view for some, it
Geological Survey geologist Ross Stein told a news conference, ‘mountains
have probably been pushed up about a foot [30 cm] or so by this
earthquake’., <>,
14 January 2004.
Such rapid uplift—yet geologists say that millions of years are
necessary. This was really only a minor quake compared to geological
activity during the Genesis Flood; thus, further evidence of how rapidly
the mountains around the earth could have formed at that time.
