It may be of interest, as a counterbalance to any claims that they go
against religious views, to note that someone tried claiming that the
extra dimensions are the spatial dimensions of heaven and hell. While
deficient in plausibility, it illustrates the fact that spiritual or
antispiritual "implications" are being read into the physics rather
than emerging from them.
