        & that may be traced to the fact that they are told (implicitly or explicitly)
from their first experiences with Christianity that the truth of Christianity is
dependent upon the truth of early Genesis as accurate historical narrative. & if that
equation is maintained, the only possible responses when YEC is challenged are (1)
denial, (2) concordism, or (3) apostasy.
        Of those (2) is certainly preferable. But one is constrained to those choices
only by the original premise.
