The experiment with electrons is a "thought experiment" proposed by
Einstein, Podolsky & Rosen. The acrual experiments to test the same ideas
("completeness" of quantum mechanics, non-locality) have been carried out with photons -
especially by Aspect et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 47 (1981) 460.
