    I appreciate that this is a concern - often referred to as the "Nigerian Scam", and
    there isn't a lot we can do this has spread very wide -
    I'd note that it is ludicrous to blame ASA; acquiring email addresses off of web pages
    is a trivial exercise - and an unmoderated list can be mailed "to" by anyone.

    The best we can do, and it isn't much, is notify the ISP that allowed the mail to
    be sent out; they will close the account. Since these are usually disposable accounts
    like hotmail or yahoo, it won't stop this. The simplest thing is to delete the mail.
