    Hi gang,

    Just got this today.

"Evolution, Science and Society," a new website giving the world
an overview of the Evolutionary Biology discipline was launched today at
    www.evolutionandsociety.org .

Sponsored by the A. P. Sloan Foundation and the National Science Foundation,
the website's content is endorsed by the American Society of Naturalists,
the Animal Behavior Society, the Ecological Society of America, the Genetics
Society of America, the Paleontological Society, the Society for Molecular
Biology and Evolution, the Society of Systematic Biologists, the Society for
the Study of Evolution, as well as the American Institute of Biological
    Sciences.

With topics ranging from the relevance of evolutionary biology research, to
the goals of evolutionary biology and how its studied, from explanations of
current applications to the future of research in the field, "Evolution,
Science and Society" is a rich resource for educators and the general public
    alike.

Carrying on from work initiated in 1998 by a group of prominent scientists
in the field, "Evolution, Science and Society" presents the current work and
theory of Evolutionary Biology in an intelligent and stimulating fashion.

Feel free to give feedback about the site to siteadmin@evolutionandsociety.org.
