I thought 'd make a final posting about my letter to James Dobson. I
currently have 26 co-signers and am waiting to hear back from about 10
people. If anyone is interested in adding their name to the letter please
email me at wendee@greendzn.com and send your (work) title, and address. If
o didn't see the letter posted to both ASA and SCICHR listservs, et me know
and I'll email it to you privately. I have made a few minor revisions. I'd
like to get it out early next week in the mail.

Secondly, I'm trying to find the accurate origin of a quote I have in my
letter:
"God wrote two books: the first is the bible… and the second is the book of
nature, which allows humans to observe and experience nature and to answer
questions about the universe."

I have found this quote attributed to both Galileo (from a letter to
somebody) and to St. Francis of Assisi. And I've seen the wording changed
slightly at different places (of course, it was originally written/spoken in
a different language so the translation may be the only difference). If
anyone knows the accurate source and author for this quote please let me
know! Thanks!! :)

In Christ,
Wendee
