It's regrettable that our modern (mis)interpretation of the Scriptures forms
such a formidable barrier to the spreading of the Gospel. Even within the
ASA group, there is no agreement. Any wonder, then, that we have
difficulties convincing fellow scientists of the message that we are to
We are still united in the common life of the redeemed.
Are we misplacing our priorities when we ought to focus more on the nature of
our vocation and witness as christians rather than the technicalities of the
written message? Life transcends the word and speaks more powerfully too...
