It was surprising to get e-mail reviewing something I wrote! Time does not
allow detailed comment; I'll have to content myself with the following:
(1) James Jordan's review is of something published 3 years ago and
he did not ask me what is my current thinking;
(2) What was forwarded treats only some side comments and not the
body of the article which was primarily exegetical and theological.
(3) Jordan himself has some unusual (he would say "interesting")
ideas about Biblical chronology, which do not find acceptance among the
best (evangelical) experts in the field.
I think my more recent work, which is in preparation, anticipates and
answers his complaints.
